Seamstress Mimi and Poet Rodolfo – among the most acclaimed stage lovers – live, love and suffer in the 19th century Paris Quartier Latin. Based on characters from a popular novel, Puccini wrote his world-famous opera “La Bohème” about their fate; one of the most frequently played pieces ever.
It must have been the vision of the dancing lovers that inspired our Austrian design team to the dainty styling of „Design by ORION: LA BOHÈME“. The delicate blossom glasses show a hint of Venetian inspiration – very fitting for upscale interior decorating in traditional European architecture. These lights can be used as ceiling lights as well as chandeliers.
„Design by ORION: LA BOHÈME“s metal parts are manufactured in solid brass employing exclusive cast molds. They are available in the option 24-carat gold-plated or in hand-shaded finish “Antique Patina” respectively “Antique Silver”. The shape of the grooved arms is reminiscent of candelabras. The lead-glass blossom glasses are diamond-cut; further crystal elements in “1A full cut crystal”-quality.
